My name is Fred Arnold. I was born in Quincy, MA and lived the first decade of my life in Dorchester, MA. I moved to Pinellas County, FL. when I was nine. I went to high school at PPHS and graduated with a 3.6 GPA and Distinction. After that I attended school at St. Petersburg College studying Biochemical Engineering. After a year of college I decided to join the Navy at 19. I was an Electronics Technician, Navigation Field on board the Submarine USS Columbia (SSN 771). I was medically discharged after about two years of service. I now live back in Pinellas County and work as a Dispatcher at Knight Enterprises.
I currently go to school at SPC once again. I changed my major to Journalism since I found a knack for writing in the military. I volunteer as the Editor and Writer of the Student Support Center Newsletter at SPC Seminole Campus. I also write extensive Hubpage articles on philosophy, literature, and politics. My hopes is to become a known journalist and then to take my experience further and open up a community newspaper that utilizes revolutionary ideas.
